PROFESSIONAL BUILDER AND ASSOCIATE PROGRAM |
Buying or building a home is one of the largest investments one will ever make, and consumers want to choose a home builder who has an investment in his or her profession. Find the right builder or contractor for your needs by choosing a North Dakota Professional Builder (NDPB) or North Dakota Professional Associate (NDPA).
This certification program is administered by the North Dakota Association of Builders, which recognizes professionals in the home building industry.

GOOD FOR THE CONSUMER
Because buying or building a home is probably the largest investment one will ever make, it makes sense to choose a home builder who has an investment in their profession. North Dakota Professional Builders have made that investment by agreeing to meet certain criteria.
GOOD FOR THE PROFESSIONAL
The North Dakota Association of Builders Professional Builder and Associate Program offers a designation given to those that conduct themselves and their business in a manner that builds trust with in the industry.
GOOD FOR THE COMMUNITY
Professional Builders and Associates have agreed to adhere to the Code of Ethics of the North Dakota Association of Builders as well as conducting business in compliance with local, state, and national standards.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The North Dakota Association of Builders uses its best efforts to determine a builder’s qualifications for certification as a North Dakota Professional Builder and Associate.
While the program recognizes the professionalism of a builder, the North Dakota Association of Builders does not make any warranty or representations, expressed or implied, to home buyers or others. Additionally, it has not inspected the construction of any home and, therefore, does not and cannot address the specific quality of a home.
The home buyers are encouraged to discuss the program with their North Dakota Professional Builder or Associate and to contact the North Dakota Association of Builders for more specific information about the program.
